Shades of Split Oak & Grey

The brief was to create a kitchen for busy family life and to consider carefully how to reduce congestion points for an efficient work flow.

The off set nature of these adjoining rooms has set up a very interesting continuous open-plan space.

We have organised the kitchen layout around a central island, the elevated circular bar creates a focal point for the whole scheme, both dining and entertaining work well here.

The coffee/breakfast dresser has created a dedicated zone for preparing drinks and snacks away from the main kitchen, this reduces pressure on the kitchen during busy meal times.
